Lawson Myers Baker Quapaw Barber, Dies
Quapaw, Okla. - Jun 24 - Lawson Myers Baker, 60 years old, died at 11:15 o'clock this morning at his home here. He was a barber for 23 years, the last 15 of which were spent in Quapaw. His body will be removed to the Goodson-Durnil funeral home. Survivors are his widow, Vada Baker; three sons, Glen Baker of Hallow, Kan., Ralph Baker of Baxter Springs, Kan., and Lee Baker of Harrisburg, Ore.; one sister, Miss Madenna (sic) Baker of Quapaw, 10 grandchildren.
