According to Debby Flynn-Pelkey's files, Hans is an adopted child of John and Anne Louise Armbrust. Possibly a child of Anne's before her marriage to John. In the 1910 census, Hans has 2 daughters, Josie and Elise. I have not determined their birthdates and if they are listed as his children using other names.
