The 1880 census notes that Philemon's father was born in Canada and her mother as being born in France.
In the 1900 So. Omaha Census, Philomen's parents are listed as being French. It lists her as being born in Sept. 1842. It is unknown why her headstone lists a 1839 birthdate.

  Medical Notes:

The City of Omaha, Nebraska Registry of Deaths lists the cause of death as "Paralysis" and the Larkin Funeral Home lists "Chief Paralysis".

In 1899, she's living 3310 T St.; 1900 at rr3405 W St.; 1901 and 1902 at 554 S. 34 St. In 1900, she was living with her daughter, Hattie and her family at 3305 T St.

The funeral of Mrs. Conklin will be held this afternoon at 2 o'clock at the residence, Fifty-third and S streets, burial in Graceland Park cemetery. The Rev. R. L. Wheeler will officiate.

Emery Trapp of Kansas City, Mo., is here to attend the funeral of his mother-in-law, Mrs. Conklin. He is the guest of his brother, Jay Trapp. Mrs. Trapp accompanied her husband here.
