  General Notes:

The 1900 Tarkio City, Atichison County, MO census indicates a nephew, Herbert Wilcox was living with John and Mary. According to the census, Herbert was born in Kansas in January 1886. His father was born in Massachusetts and his mother in Vermont. Herbert was 14 and a student.

In the 1920 census, both her niece and nephew, Bertha and Herbert Wilcox are living with her at 1557 Third Street. Bertha's birthplace is listed as Kansas, but Herbert's is now listed as Colorado. Mary and Bertha had no occupations, but Herbert was a farm laborer.
The 1930 Tehama County Census shows Mary's birthplace as Massachusetts. Living with her at the time of the census, was Bertha Wilcox, a single niece who was born in Kansas in 1883. Both of Bertha's parents were born in Massachusetts. I believe Bertha was Herbert's sister.

Death certificate lists birth as May 8, 1857. Lists CA residence for 38 years. Informant for death certificate was Bertha Wilcox of Gerber, CA.
