There is no birth registered for Laura Anna Gordon or the other children appearing in the 1885 census for Sprink County. Laura's death certificate issued in NE # 60 7630, lists her birth place as Redfield, SD which is in Spink County, SD. It lists her mother as Elizabeth Meyers and father as Daniel B. Gordon.

The 1885 census for Spink County indicates Elizabeth's father was born in England.
