S. W. Martin of Atlanta is reported dead at that place, at the age of sixty-one. He has been sick about five years. Coming to Cowley in 1872, he has recided [sic] here ever since. His wife, a daughter of Willis Wilson, survives him. There are eight children, seven living in Atlanta; and one, W. R. Martin, city mail carrier in Winfield.
